Canadian Screen Award Nomination

What an honour to receive my first nomination for a Canadian Screen Award in photography. The Canadian Screen awards are the new amalgamation of the Gemini's (TV) and the Genie Awards (Film). Yukon Gold was nominated for three awards in the categories of Best Factual Series, Best Photography and Best Writing in a Reality or Lifestyle/Competition Series. This is a huge announcement for me, since I worked on the show as the Lead DOP and Director. In the category of photography, Yukon Gold has some stiff competition from shows like Top Chef Canada and Amazing Race Canada. The awards air March 9th on CBC. I'll be holding my breath.
